I had a canny time stayin' here. The staff were proper friendly, and the room was clean and spacious, like. My only bother was the breakfast could’ve been a bit better, but overall, I felt canny comfy!

The location was comfortable and ideal, near the walking area we wanted! Further, it was near food / drink / shops, the Farncombe train station, and the South, Godalming and Guildford.

Location: the hotel was just off Godalming as well as shops. Found The Cricketers with perfect drinks 500 metres away. The breakfast was well prepared and I had a very very good stay overall...
The room I had could be cleaned.

Good Breakfast
The hotel is located on the main road between Guildford and Godalming. This road is very busy with cars, local buses and heavy vehicles throughout the 24 hour period. I stayed in room 14 which faced this road. To make matters worse the room had only single glazing. When the heavy vehicles and buses passed the hotel, the bedroom shook, this vibration was then passed into the bed. We never has much sleep because of the noise of traffic which occurred throughout the night. Next door was occupied by several male occupants, who continued to be noisy throughout the night. Doors continued to bang throughout the day and night, this was because some of the doors had no outside knobs. These matters were bought to the attention of the hotel owner.

The general cleanliness of the room maintained a decent standard, more than I can say for many places I've been. The carpets were alright, showing some effort in upkeep.
The hotel exudes a vibe more akin to a rundown hostel than a proper hotel. I mean, missing light bulbs in the bathroom, cold water only, and a patched-up ceiling are reasons to raise an eyebrow. Trying to squeeze into the rear car park is like navigating a tight asteroid field-definitely not for the faint of heart. The mattress felt old, and the overall decor could use a serious update.

Clean and very convenient for my business trip. Breakfast fine.
Blind in the bedroom didn't close so light from the road intrusive. Several labels in bathroom warning of £300 fine if any solids except toilet paper were put down the toilet!

Good location, good price, good breakfast
uncomfortable soft matress and pillows (matress sagged in the middle, not comfortable for a couple to sleep on)

We loved the location. It's close to the town centre where we enjoyed strolls and explored pet-friendly parks. Plus, the spacious rooms were perfect for our family and dogs, easier to settle in. We found the reception staff friendly and cute.
My wife says that the cleanliness left a lot to be desired.

Although they had clearly thrown a lot of money at a recent re-furb, there were lots of little touches overlooked: toilet paper holder, hooks for towels near shower, even a proper door handle. I would have sacrificed the chandelier for somewhere to hang my towel!

I was there for 3 nights and requested a single room which was on the 3rd floor. The room was unacceptably small, even for a single room. I did not see any of the other single rooms, however if they were as small as this one, the hotel needs to consider whether they are serious about their guest's comfort and reputation. Given I was there for 3 nights, and booked 6 months prior to arrival, I would have expected better.

Amazing hotel with wi-fi, good car park, and a tv. The staff even helped me with plug adaptors on my first stay. I highly recommend this spot. I'm coming back for a trip!

The hotel is clean and has a nice lobby.
Room nr 4 in which i stayed is on the ground floor and has the windows leading to a wall. For one night is fine, but not more. Due to the lack of direct light the air seems a bit musty. Breakfast is rather poor ( if you don't like sausages, beans ans bacon ). Staff does not seem very enthusiastic, on the contrary. They did not have the reservation I had made through Booked.net, so maybe it's good to call and check after you make a reservation.I owuld only recommend the hotel for a short stay and try to get a room on the first floor.

Clean and convenient for us, attending a wedding in the area. Not sure the room we were in was worth £70, but the staff were very accommodating. Perfectly serviceable place. However, it is more a large b&b than a hotel.
